Sexual health services in Hampshire
Chlamydia Testing, Sexually Transmitted Infection Testing and HIV Testing can be accessed confidentially and free of charge from the Sexual and Reproductive Health Service either in person, online or call 0300 300 2016.
Contraception, including Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) and Emergency Contraception is available free of charge from the Sexual and Reproductive Health Service. You can call to make an appointment or go to a young person’s walk-in clinic. Check your local clinic for opening times or call 0300 300 2016.
Free condoms are available to order online for Hampshire residents or through the Get It On scheme if you are under 25. Full details can be found on the Lets Talk About It website.
You can now get the contraceptive pill or emergency hormonal contraception (sometimes called the morning after pill, plan B or EC) free from participating local pharmacies.

Your GP practice can provide information and advice on contraception including Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (such as coil or implant). Your GP can also provide emergency contraception, STI and HIV testing.

Unplanned Pregnancy advice and counselling and termination of pregnancy services are free and available via BPAS. The counselling team will provide an impartial and supportive environment for you to discuss your feelings or if you have made a decision not to continue with a pregnancy, they provide access to termination services. Vasectomy is available free via self-referral to Mid Hampshire Healthcare for patients who are registered with a GP practice within the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board.
