Dry Dock

Dry dock located at Frimley Lock no. 28.

Facilities

• Polytunnel covered - but not completely waterproof
• Two water taps
• Thirteen amp (240 volt) electric supply, however only 110 volt supply may be used in the dry dock so hirers must supply their own 110 volt transformer and suitable tools, leads etc
• Storage cupboard
• A key is required to access the cupboard and may be borrowed from the Canal Centre at the time of booking for a refundable deposit.

Charges

• Dry dock hire per day: £56.50 (payment required in full at the time of booking)
• Dry dock key: £25 (returnable cash deposit)

For boats visiting from another waterway, you will need to hold a Visiting Boat licence for the duration of your stay.

For boats registered on the Basingstoke Canal which have not paid the annual lock usage fee, lock flight charges will apply if approaching from downstream.
