Boat trips, hire and charter
If you don’t own your own boat, then there are still ways you can enjoy the Canal from the water. You could hire a rowing boat or canoe, or enjoy a trip on one of the canal boats that operate in Woking, Mytchett or Odiham.
Self-drive canal boats are available to hire from Galleon Marine at Odiham, and accessible boats are available through Accessible Boating.

Canal Visitor Centre - Mytchett
Pedalos, canoes, sit on top kayaks and rowing boats are available for hire at weekends and school holidays from Easter to the end of September from the Canal Visitor Centre, Mytchett. Contact the Canal Visitor Centre on 01252 370073.

Boat trips
Canal Visitor Centre - Mytchett
The Canal Visitor Centre operate the 12-seater public trip boat ‘Rosebud’.
Public trips run on weekends from Easter to September plus Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays during Easter, Spring Half Term and Summer school holidays. Themed trips and charter hire are also available. Contact the Canal Visitor Centre on 01252 370073.
“John Pinkerton II” - Odiham

‘Kitty’ – Woking
Kitty is a 12-seater boat belonging to the Basingstoke Canal Society offering 75 minute trips from the Town Wharf in Woking on Wednesdays and weekends from Easter to the end of September. This boat has a hydraulic lift and ramp and can accommodate up to two unpowered wheelchair users per trip.
