Planning your visit to Stubbington Study Centre
Information for teachers
Our programme of activities - designed primarily for KS2 - offers the perfect blend of learning, adventure and fun. Below you’ll find key information about pricing, booking your visit, and essential documents to support your planning.
Prices
A stay at Stubbington Study Centre includes all activities, accommodation and meals for the full week.
Resident visiting staff are accommodated free of charge at a staff-to-pupil ratio of 1:12, or two free places per activity group of up to 36 children.
Additional charges may apply for:
- Extra adults beyond the standard ratio.
- Staff visiting mid-week.
To support accessibility and inclusion, additional free staff spaces may be available for children requiring one-to-one support. This is assessed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us for more information or clarification.
Making a booking
We begin taking bookings in January for the following academic year, allowing us to match most schools’ preferred dates. The booking window closes on 31 January.
- In February we confirm the week allocated to your school.
- Enquiries made after January are offered remaining available dates.
- Any other time of year – Please call us on 01329 662244 to discuss availability.
For a full week’s programme, schools typically select 7 two-hour activity sessions, plus a shorter Friday session such as Stubbington Fox.
Confirming your booking
Once we receive your booking enquiry and providing that space allows, we will send you an official offer. You’ll then have 28 days to return your ‘Confirmation of Booking’ form, indicating the number of places you wish to reserve.
Please note:
- You are financially committed to the numbers you confirm.
- We recommend using the 28-day period to finalise numbers with parents.
- A non-returnable deposit is required with the confirmation form.
- If you wish to increase numbers, please contact us first to check availability.
Ten weeks before your visit, we will issue an invoice for 25% of the projected total cost.
See our Booking Terms and Conditions for further information.
Final payment
After your visit, we will invoice you based on the greater of:
- The number of places originally booked, or
- The number of resident children who attended.
