Young Persons Support Fund

At Hampshire Outdoor Centres, we believe in the transformative power of outdoor education. We are delighted to offer a support fund that provides financial assistance to young people wishing to experience our enriching programmes.

We understand the financial constraints faced by schools, organisations, youth groups, and parents. Our mission is to deliver outdoor education programmes that enhance personal, social, and academic development through challenge, adventure, and self-discovery.

Funding application

Given the limited nature of the support fund, we encourage careful consideration of those who would benefit most or who might otherwise be unable to attend. You can apply for specific amounts for individuals within your application.

We recommend reaching out to young peoples' parents/guardians before completing the application, to gather specific requests or circumstances to share with us.

Examples of supported applications

• Asylum seekers/refugees
• Families experiencing financial hardship
• Families with multiple children attending the same visit (e.g. twins, triplets)
• Low-income/vulnerable families
• Young carers
• Young people with SEND

This list is not exhaustive. We understand that families experience different challenges at different times. Please provide detailed information about specific individuals' circumstances, without identifying them or their family, and explain how the requested amount would support them.

Application example

Student 1: Parents with twins can fully fund one child's place. They have requested £100 towards the second child's place and are exploring other funding opportunities.

Please note: We require applications to be submitted as early in the booking process as possible. Applications must be received prior to submitting your final group numbers. Any applications received after this time will not be considered.
