The Hampshire 2050 Partnership Year of Health and Wellbeing
Information and resources about the Year of Health and Wellbeing
The Year of Health and Wellbeing (2024-25) marks an ambitious 12-month drive by the partnership to integrate health and wellbeing into our business, workplace policies and day-to-day working practices. It is an opportunity for cross-sectoral working focussing on the health and wellbeing of Hampshire’s residents.
The three core priorities of focus during the Year of Health and Wellbeing are:
- Physical activity
- Mental wellbeing
- Childhood obesity
The interlinkages between these priorities are clear. The priorities also intersect with the partnership’s other key strategic drivers including impact on economic prosperity, climate change and the natural environment.
Hampshire 2050 Year of Health & Wellbeing Partner toolkit
We have developed a toolkit to aid partners engaging with the Year of Health and Wellbeing, and the three core priorities. This guidance has been developed with expert leads from the County Councils Public Health Team and is designed to be applicable to a range of organisations and sectors as part of the diverse Hampshire 2050 Partnership.
The aims of the toolkit are to:
- provide an introduction to the Hampshire Year of Health and Wellbeing
- describe the three priorities and the evidence base behind these
- provide guidance, case studies and other resources to support partners to play an active role in supporting the health, wellbeing, productivity and prosperity of Hampshire; not just in 2024/25, but for years to come
Case studies
Are you taking action on the three health and wellbeing priorities? We want to hear your case studies! Complete the case study template and email it to: [email protected].
Partners will have the opportunity to present case studies to the Partnership at the end-of-year event in 2025.
