This is a great opportunity for the children to discover their local library and spark a love, or a continued love, for reading.

Your visit

You may experience:

  • a Storytime session
  • a tour of the library
  • discover great books in the children’s library
  • find out how libraries process stock
  • and other library specific activities

These sessions are ideal for children starting reception, where families can come along to meet other parents/carers and children starting at your new school.

Our library staff will be available to answer questions about the library service and may deliver other activities during the session.

We will update this page when new sessions are available.
