Byelaws
We want all our visitors to enjoy the beauty and surroundings of the park
To help enable this there are several byelaws that we ask customers to adhere to. The byelaws are under Section 41 of the Countryside Act 1968.
All visitors need to be aware of the following when visiting our park
- There should be no mechanically propelled vehicles on the land except where there is a right of way for that class of vehicle (except invalid vehicles)
- There should be no removal and damage to any structures, plants, soil etc
- Dogs must be kept under control at all times. You must ensure that you clear up after your dog, and dispose of it in the bins provided. There is a £1,000 penalty for not adhering to this
- Dogs are not allowed in the play areas, café or toilets (except assistance dogs)
- We also ask you to ensure that you do not take part in any of the following whilst visiting the park, without prior permission from the Park Manager:
- personal/disposable barbeques, fires, camping, trading, hunting, fishing, shooting or trapping of animals or fish, horse riding, grazing, bathing, golf, amplified sound, flying/landing of any power driven aircraft (inc. drones and model planes).
Thank you for respecting your park and our byelaws.
