Dogs

Dogs aren’t allowed onsite except for assistance or guide dogs. This is to protect the birds and wildlife that make their home on our reserve.

Dogs can be walked on the public footpath running alongside the canal. Follow the canine code.

Accessibility

The hides have good accessibility for wheelchairs and pushchairs alike, but there may be muddy surfaces in wetter months.

Scrapes (West) trail is not currently suitable for some wheelchairs due to soft ground uneven ground. The Boardwalk (East) trail is suitable for all including wheelchairs.
