West side (Scrapes Trail) of the reserve will be open from Saturday 7 September onwards! We apologise this has been a long time coming due to delays in construction, but we are very grateful for your kind support and patience.

Members will have a 10-week extension from the date of expiry.

Thank you once again for your continued support and patience, the weather is due to be nice in time for the opening. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Firecrest

Firecrests are one of our smallest birds, recognisable from their bright orange crest.

Where to find

Along the boardwalk trail, particularly near Suffern hide.

When to spot

Seen all year but are easier to spot in autumn and winter.
