West side (Scrapes Trail) of the reserve will be open from Saturday 7 September onwards! We apologise this has been a long time coming due to delays in construction, but we are very grateful for your kind support and patience.

Slow worms are legless lizards and are around 40-50cm long. Being reptiles they warm themselves in the sun to increase their body temperature and will become more active when warm.
They can be spotted sunning themselves on a log pile or moving quickly across a path, they are neither a worm or particularly slow!
