Deferred pension
Police Pension Scheme 1987 (PPS 1987)
Your pension became deferred when you left service or opted out of the PPS. You can refer to your most recent deferred pension statement to see the current value of your pension.
If you want to see how a deferred pension is calculated, see Deferred pensions.
Your pension can be paid from:
- age 60
- age 50 if you left with at least 25 years' service
- any age due to permanent disability
Claiming your pension
To claim your pension, complete a Retirement declaration form and send it to Pensions Services. Don't complete the form more than three months before your pension is due.
Contact Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary if you think you qualify to receive your pension early due to disability.
