Accessibility in Libraries

We aim for all our libraries to be welcoming, inclusive spaces for all to enjoy.

Our staff receive regular disability awareness and equality training.

Most of our libraries are wheelchair accessible and are either on one floor, or have lifts provided. Where lift access is not available library staff can provide assistance. Some of our libraries have fixed hearing loops in which our staff are trained, please see the individual branch pages for where these are available. We are always happy to provide water for assistance dogs.

Some of our Hampshire Libraries have computers with large print keyboards and tracker ball mice. Please see the individual branch pages for where these are available.

Some of our Hampshire Libraries have accessible parking spaces onsite. Please see the individual branch pages for where these are available.
