Travel Alert : Eastbound M27 Junction 10 on-slip – overnight closures
Overnight technology installation work will be carried out on the eastbound M27 Junction 10 on-slip road (towards Fareham / Portsmouth) between 20 and 24 July 2026. The eastbound on-slip road will be closed from 9:00pm to 6:00am each night and will reopen to traffic at 6:00am each morningA signed diversion route will be in place via M27 Junction 11.
Construction Progress Update
A32 Wickham Road
The new pedestrian crossing island near Boundary Oak School has now been installed. This work included:
- Installation of tactile paving on the island and adjoining footways
New road markings
Footway improvements on the southbound side of the carriageway
Broadway Roundabout
The roundabout is now operational, marking a new milestone in the delivery of the M27 Junction 10 scheme. All traffic management associated with the roundabout has been removed, allowing drivers to travel around the roundabout and access routes towards Fareham, Wickham and the M27 as normal.
Work is continuing on the new link road and High Street Roundabout. As a result, the arm of Broadway Roundabout leading to the High Street Roundabout remains closed to through traffic at present and is currently being used solely to provide access to Dean Farm. Once the remaining works are complete, this section of the new layout will be opened to all traffic.
High Street Roundabout
Work continues on the construction of the new High Street Roundabout. A temporary crossing point has been installed to allow vehicle access to the industrial estate and Dean Farm while construction progresses.
Significant progress has been made across this section of the scheme. Signage has been installed at the new M27 Junction 10 Roundabout.
