Payment dates

Please note that, in some months two payments will be made. We realise that some members have specific banking arrangements which require a payment each calendar month to attract interest, but we are unable to amend the payment dates.

Payment dates for LGPS which are paid in arrears

The table below shows the payment dates for the current and upcoming year. This is the date that your pension will be credited to your bank account. Your pension is due on the last day of the month but if the last day of the month falls on a weekend or bank holiday, then we will pay you on the working day before.

Payment dates for LGPS which are paid in advance

The table below shows the payment dates for the current and upcoming year. This is the date that your pension will be credited to your bank account. Your pension is due on the first day of the month but if the first of the month falls on a weekend or bank holiday, then we will pay your pension on the previous working day, which may mean that you receive two payments in one calendar month.
