Forward planning is advisable when making any major change, and retirement is no exception. Why not consider coming along to a retirement workshop delivered by Affinity Financial Awareness, who are retirement specialists and work in partnership with the Hampshire Pension Services.
These workshops are designed to enhance your understanding of the key issues and decisions you will face as you approach this new stage in life. They are suitable for LGPS members considering retirement within the next couple of years. The courses are also just as valuable for those uncertain about their retirement age, and those with a specific retirement age in mind.
They explore a wide range of retirement-related topics, including:

✅Minimising the taxes you pay
✅Understanding basic investment strategies for retirees
Additionally, the workshop will explain your occupational and state pension entitlements and guide you through the decisions you need to make regarding how to claim your pension benefits.
